Honoring Women Worldwide

Metropolitan State University (through its College of Nursing) is co-sponsoring a memorable and inspiring day focused on "Honoring Women's Health from All Cultures" on Saturday, May 17 from 9:00 am to 3:00pm at Metropolitan State University; doors open at 8:00am. Honoring Women Worldwide, HealthEast and Metropolitan State University are excited to share this enjoyable, entertaining and educational experience focused on honoring your greatest asset, your health.

Not only will you hear an outstanding panel of experts moderated by Ann Schrader COO of HealthEast Care System discuss inspiring and empowering strategies to take better care of your health and address some of the cultural challenges faced when seeking medical help. In addition, you'll have a chance to attend some thought-provoking and educational breakout sessions.
Honoring Women Worldwide will honor the special student member prices to all faculty, staff and students who attend; which is $15 before May 10 and $25 after.

Honoring Women Worldwide is focused on uniting, connecting, engaging and inspiring women across the twin cities and worldwide to honor, recognize and celebrate themselves, their contributions and leverage their untapped leadership capabilities to positively change our world. The cornerstone of these initiatives will be a Women's Worldwide Center and Hall of Honor to be built in the Twin Cities; ground breaking by 2015.
